These first grade students teach me something new every day. We made turkey dinner bells today. One student was very excited about the project, because, as he said, his grandparents have a dinner bell because (here's the educational part) "they were born in the fifties". Hmmm. Good to know!
Reminders:
1. Book orders are due Friday.
2. Please send a half cup of cut-up veggies (or peas or corn) Friday morning for our Thanksgiving stew.
3. The students will have a test Friday on matching the numbers (1,2,3, etc.) with their lettered names (one, two, three, etc.). This will replace the regular Friday morning spelling test.
