June 12, 2017

There are notes in agenda pockets today outlining our town library's summer reading program. Check it out!

The Right to Read group is meeting this Wednesday at 7:00 in Room 7 here at JES. The Right to Read Society is a registered charitable organization that includes parents, teacher, and interested individuals. They work together to help children achieve success with reading and comprehension skills. The society fundraises to support activities. They offer the following services:

*Partnering with the schools to implement enhanced reading programs
*Parent and teacher workshops
*Support for specialized programs, testing, and tutoring

If you'd like to join the meeting this Wednesday, please do so - with our thanks for helping students to be strong readers!

There will be no further spelling tests for first graders this year.

The second grade students will have their final spelling test this Friday.
