Happy Groundhog Day, everyone! We did our own little Jasper shadow test, and it looks like we're in for six more weeks of winter. (See the photos that follow for proof that we saw our shadows today!)

Both grades have a spelling test to study for.

Students from both grades have to come up with something for our "Sport and Tell" tomorrow.

The first graders' book reviews the "oo" sound, and adds another way to pronounce it. (We tried saying words like book, cook, and good  with the same vowel sound you hear in boot. We sounded like a room full of vampire wannabe people!)
